From sudden outbursts to silent withdrawal, children often face feelings they can’t name or explain. Without the right words or tools, those emotions can build up --- leading to confusion, meltdowns, or shutdowns.
Feeling Decoder: Agent in Training helps turn emotional chaos into calm. Through fun missions and playful stories, kids learn to recognise what they feel, understand why, and discover what helps.

Author | Thought Collaborator
In the last two years, I’ve created three books to help children understand and express their emotions:
📍Benny and the Magic Mood Balloons,
🌈Sunny and the Calm-Down Quest, and
💬The Magic of Changing Thoughts.
Each brought children closer to emotional clarity; through colour, calm, and curiosity.
A space where children could practise emotional tools more deeply. Where decoding feelings could become a mission, not just a story. That’s why I created Feeling Decoder: Agent in Training.
It’s playful, powerful, and designed to help children recognise what they feel, understand why they feel it, and choose what to do next.
For every big emotion. For every child on a journey.

Not Just Tough Times
Support Their Emotions Before the Struggles Begin
Because some of the most important heart-to-heart moments happen quietly, long before the big tears.
Whether your child is already showing big emotions, or you simply want to prepare them for life’s ups and downs — this workbook gives them the skills, the words, and the confidence to understand themselves.
-
For the child who melts down, bottles up, or says “I don’t know what I feel.”
-
For the child who’s cheerful, curious, and growing fast- and you want to keep their emotional world just as strong.
-
Ages 4–10 | CBT-based | Child-friendly | Real-life ready: school, siblings, sadness, stress.
Because emotional strength isn’t built only in hard times — it grows quietly in everyday moments.
Let’s plant those seeds before the storms arrive.

Everyday emotions matter.let’s nurture them before the meltdown moments.

Train Like an Emotional Agent
No boring lectures. Just missions, practice, and play
Step 1: Help Your Child Decode Feelings
Spot the signs. Name the feeling together.
(Playful tools turn confusion into clarity -so your child can say what’s in their heart.)

Step 2: Turn Stories Into Secret Missions
Every story becomes a practice ground for real-life skills.
(Your child learns while having fun — without even realising they’re “learning.”)
Step 3: Celebrate Wins
From tricky moments to proud breakthroughs.
(They’ll feel confident, you’ll feel proud — and those little wins will add up.)

💡 Tip: Each completed mission strengthens your child’s agent skills for real life

I’ve always been curious about what drives us from within. That curiosity led me to Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) — and to the wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita. Between science and scripture, I found a shared language.
Awareness, and the courage to pause before reacting, come from noticing our thoughts, beliefs, and the stories we tell ourselves — and how they shape our feelings.
My journey in this field blends academic grounding with a deep commitment to emotional awareness and everyday wisdom.
I hold an MS in Counselling from Southern Methodist University (SMU), Dallas, Texas, and trained under the Beck Institute (USA).
As a therapist and founder of Cheshtha Counselling, I support adults, parents, and preteens in working with their minds — not against them. I help children do the same, through story, structure, and soul.
